Hiking to Make a Difference!
This year Next Bend Adventures is joining the Make-A-Wish Foundation, Greater Virginia, in the Trailblaze Challenge on April 12 in Shenandoah National Park. Fred will serve as a Hike Guide during the event and we are committed to raising $2,500.00 to help grant the wishes of the more than 350 children in the greater Virginia area facing serious illness and physical disabilities. Guide and Outfitters Insurance issued by K&K Insurance Co.
Wilderness First Aid, First Aid and CPR certifications currently active through American Red Cross
Guiding Permit issued by US Forest Service for the George Washington-Jefferson National Forest and permit pending from Shenandoah National Park.
